I'm glad to see this post and will try to make it to tonight's screening. For future events, I hope you'll reach out to other campuses and organizations and see if you can use their mailing lists or Web sites to publicize your events. American University Law School has a number of professors and students looking at IPR issues, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Public Knowledge, and CPTech have worked hard to push back against efforts to extend copyright, and many members of the DC chapter of the Internet Society are worried about copyright in cyberspace.

Can't make the screening, but best of luck. I'm a Georgetown student too and I'm looking forward to future events from our Free Culture chapter. I think it's pretty cool that you started this--I've tried tried explaining Creative Commons to other people on the Voice and their eyes glaze over. Maybe you can help change that.
